On going projects
”Counseling Center for Unemployed Women”
financed by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation
Third mandate: January 2006 – December 2007
(the results of the first two mandates can be found at the
column „developed projects”)
The project is part of the programme „Labour market”, developed
by REPER network and has as general objective raising the
occupational level of the persons that are looking for a job in
the cities: Hunedoara, Campia Turzii, Iasi, Roman and
Targoviste.
Target group
Women that are looking for a job in the city of Iasi
Project activities:
• informing the beneficiaries upon
the opportunities of the labor market
•
vocational counseling and mediation
•
evaluating unemployed women in order to orientate them in the
career (professional tests applyed by the psychologists)
•
applying standardized instruments and techniques of career
counselling
•
training in methods and techniques of looking for a job
•
interview simulation
•
organising preselection and selection when requested by the
local companies
•
logistic help in drafting the Cv and the letter of motivation
•
legal counseling on labor issues
Estimated results for the year 2006:
• at least 80 persons employed
• 200 unemployed women counselled
• organising 50 staff selection
• 100 women trained in techniques
of looking for a job
• organising at least 200 job
mediation
• offering information on labour
market to at least 300 unemployed women
• other informing services
requested by the beneficiaries
